'Less is More' is Jessica Hess' new exhibition at Hashimoto Contemporary. Hess returns focusing on structural and quirky elements of architecture, devoid of human presence. After viewing her exhibition online, I was immediately taken aback by 'North Adams'. The primarily pink piece caught my eye, as I'm obsessed with pink. However, it was more than just the color, (which is juxtaposed against a brown, woodsy background) that struck me. I have an affinity for photo collages and Jessica was able to pull of this aesthetic perfectly.
Today, 'North Adams' was released as a print. The original painting will set you back $8500, however, a print can be yours for the low, low, price of $75 ($205 framed). The print is limited to 50 copies and measures 18" x 21".
