I’m having an All-American Sunday evening. The Dodgers are playing the Giants, my wife cooked turkey hotdogs, and I’m posting Casey Weldon’s latest kittypillar release. It’s entirely possible that kittypillar’s haven’t quite made it into the forefront of Americana, however, the quattuorodecs* are gaining in popularity.
As a Seattle resident, I like to follow our local artists. Casey is a transplant who originally hails from Southern California. All jokes aside, his kittypillar originals and customs, sold out almost immediately. And his prints are no different.
If you aren’t following Casey on Instagram, you need to start. He does a lot of work with local kids and to be honest, their work is amazing (see image below). Casey just released ‘Siamese’ via the People’s Print Shop (yes, the same place as Juan Travieso’s ‘Expiring #4’), which costs a cool $19.95. The print measures 8”x10”, making framing inexpensive. The edition is signed and is limited to 100 prints.
