My wife and I are just chilling, watching a two-part series on Waco/David Koresh. It's incredibly scary and sad, so I thought I'd focus on some positive things, while watching. Nick Walker is one of the Bristol graffiti artists that really revolutionized the urban/street art scene. As a pioneer and contemporary of Banksy and Robert Del Naja (3D), his impact on the scene cannot be overstated. His vandal (self-portrait) has continued to be one of his major subjects and themes, throughout the years. His TMA (The Morning After) series depicts the results after a long night of painting, by the vandal character. The tops of buildings are symbolically painted to represent his bombing of the city. I still get excited about his art; here are a few of my favorites.
Art isn't purchased at big-box stores. This blog is for collectors like me, who collect on a budget.
